Shops are usually open Monday to Saturday from
9.00 am to 1.00 pm. and 4.00 pm. to 7.30 pm.

Service is generally included in the bill, but tips are welcome.
CLIMATE AND DRESS
Temperature in Rome in March averages 18C, nights are sometimes colder than
10C. Clothing should be suitable for a temperature, changeable climate.

MONEY EXCHANGE
The currency is EUR. If you come from outside EU or from
Denmark, Great Britain or Sweden, you are recommended to
exchange your money prior to the Conference;
however there are several locations in Rome in which to do this: Banks are
open Monday through Friday from 08:30 am to 1:30 pm, and in the late
afternoon. On Saturdays and Sundays money can be changed in hotels, currency
exchange booths downtown, at Termini railway station and at the airports.
Most hotels, restaurants, and shops accept foreign currency and major credit
cards.
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
The electric current in Italy is 220 Volts.
MEDICAL CARE
Medical Care and health insurance as for any foreign
travel good medical insurance is essential.
Emergency medical and dental care can be arranged through the hotel
receptions. No particular vaccinations are required and the water is
perfectly drinkable.
