How to get funded

Teachers who come to attend  the ECOLE programme can be funded by Socrates National Agencies.

There are different way to apply for funding:

• teachers can be funded as a preparatory visit in Comenius1 in case they come in order to plan new projects to be presented in the frame of Comenius.
• teachers can use the money from their own Comenius projects (Comenius 1 but even Comenius2 in case they are involved as teacher trainers)
• teachers can be funded to come as contact seminar in the frame of Comenius 3 conferences
• some agencies (but not all!) fund teachers once for a preparatory visit and once for a contact seminar. In case you already applied to a preparatory visit you can check the rules in your country.

The calculation for applying to funding is made by the NAs on the basis of school year, which means that teachers can calculate how many times they have been funded since August the 1st till July the 31st.
